Two Months and other news.

Last week {May 23 to 26}, we stayed at my {Val} parent's house to take care of the animals while they went to Albany, GA to move Nana up to SC. So, Nana is officially a Carolina Girl now. Watch out SC, she's a feisty one, that Nana. 

Thursday {May 26}, Jon and I celebrated our 2 months of being married! He brought me a yellow rose and took me out for a fun dinner date to Smoke on the Water in downtown Greenville. I had a burger to celebrate National Burger Weekend {I really had no idea that this existed until Jon read it somewhere}. Jon had beef brisket. They have 4 special BBQ sauces to choose from - all very delicious. If you haven't eaten there, you should try it out!

Not only was Thursday our 2 monthaversary, but it was my big brother's birthday! So, here's a birthday shout out to you Don! I hope you and Ariun are enjoying your time in Mongolia. I can't wait to see more pictures up on FaceBook and hear all about it when you guys get back! {We do have a card waiting for you when you get back as well!}

Friday {May 27}, I had my wisdom teeth extracted {this word makes the surgery sound really brutal to me}. Surgery went well. I had a few days of not so fun recovery, but I am feeling SO much better. I had my follow up this past Thursday, and I'm pretty much all healed up already. Jon took such good care of me last weekend. He cleaned the whole place and even bathed Dakota! What a guy. ;)

I just finished writing the last thank you note from the wedding. {phew!}. Thank you all so much for filling our little abode with so much fun! I will put pictures up soon of our place to share.

This weekend Jon and I plan to relax and just enjoy spring {that feels like summer}. Next weekend, we'll be in Raleigh for a good friend's wedding {Kim Courtney & Michael Smith from Apex}. We hope to stay in Pinehurst with David & Amy to visit with them and our precious niece, Estelle!
